Hypothesese 2 (Alyssa, Hien, Tony)

Our pie chart shows that most of the people that we interviewed (14) uses the internet in most of their spare time. Our question was "What do you do most in your free time?" This is a different question from what the other groups have done. Instead of asking how many hours they have of free time AND how much time they use it on the internet, our question is much shorter and simpler.

On the pie chart, it shows that 54% of the 14 we interviewed spends most of their speare time on the internet. So yes, Mr Turner's hypothesis was correct.

  1. You lose data by using a pie chart incorrectly i suggest you use a different form of presenting your information - maybe 2 or 3 forms?

  2. HOWEVER, Anh Tu, it is easier to compare amounts and proportions using pie charts. So this method is better for this kind of work.

  3. you could've added the angles and total amount of the pie chart so it would be clearer to us of the amounts of add a data table showing your results.

  4. Fine, but I don't really think the angle is as important in this situation? Cuz the pie chart is only to compare the times, we don't need angles.

  5. I think that is was really good to be able to visualise your results but i think you could have added a second diagram so we could anylise the exact results in more detail. Also you spelt spare wrong :)

  6. I think that Phoebe is correct you should add, maybe a bar chart so that you can show your raw data and that you don't lose your data

  7. Atomic, yes I do agree that it is easier to compare the results, and it does look visually appealing, but in terms of conclusions, and results, the loss of data could make the difference on your conclusion. I would have suggested you did 2 forms of showing your data. Hokyin.

  8. I like the use of the pie charty to visualise the data here. I think it's appropriate for the dataa that you collected but you could have tried a second graph or a table to show exact data.

    Spelling mistake intentional.
